Well tumblr decided to get in on the fun! Ben, Tits, myself and a few others reposted the gif set as a critique of this ridiculous notion that a gif set can only be posted once by it’s original creator, even if you credit the creator in your post (say if, you didn’t know the url of the original post). After that everyone is somehow obligated to reblog the original set. Oh, unless you post a gif as a reply to something. Then you can totes repost, and you don’t even need to credit the original creator. Weird by-rules man.
ANYWAY
Well tumblr, having been cyberbullied by 19 year old fangirls, decided to uphold their sparkling record on censorship, and pulled our posts criticizing this. And the reblogs of support those posts received. Without informing us. I just figured it out when I went to read Ben’s wrap-up of the whole kerfuffle where he links to our original (har) posts. Gonzo. I wonder if anything will happen to the mob that harassed Cassie for, not an exaggeration, the ENTIRE day yesterday.
Cassie removed her post from her blog willingly sometime yesterday when even the Tardis couldn’t expand large enough to allow enough room for all the twats bombarding her with Goatse sized assholery, but ironically it (along with the post by the original “artist” (lulz)) hasn’t been scrubbed. Only those of us who posted it as fair use with a message other than OMGTENTH4EVERBB had our opinions on the matter silenced.

Salute to the Red, White, and Blue! It’s been confirmed that the other man of steel will be donning the patriotic suit created by Norman Osborne (yes, from Spider-man), though (obviously) neither Osborne nor Spider-man will be making an appearance in the movie.
Kinda makes you wish we lived in an alternate universe where Marvel owned the film rights to ALL of their characters eh?
Ugh, I love the Iron Patriot armor. The way Iron Man 2 ended (with Hammer having access to suit designs) makes me think they are going to use this as a more subtle version of Coldblood wearing Detroit Steel/Steelcorps armor, because, you know, chainsaw arms are pretty goofy.
